Что дает студентам-первокурсникам участие во внеучебной деятельности: успеваемость, желание продолжить обучение и психологическое благополучие
Аннотация
Внимание к внеучебной деятельности в высшем образовании связано с изменением роли университета, а именно с активацией его дополнительной функции, заключающейся в развитии личности студентов. Университеты целенаправленно поддерживают внеучебную деятельность, при этом данные исследований, посвященных ее влиянию на образовательные результаты студентов, являются весьма противоречивыми и выявляют наряду с позитивными негативные эффекты. Цель данного исследования заключается в изучении роли внеучебной деятельности в формировании образовательных результатов студентов российских университетов с учетом как положительных, так и отрицательных эффектов этой деятельности. Для получения эмпирических данных проведено анкетирование студентов-первокурсников программ бакалавриата и специалитета Томского государственного университета (N = 1199). Исследование выявило положительную связь между внеучебной деятельностью и образовательными результатами студентов, включая как объективные (успеваемость), так и субъективные (желание продолжить обучение и психологическое благополучие) показатели. При этом значение имеет не только сам факт участия во внеучебной деятельности, но и выбранный студентом вид активности. В частности, научная деятельность, в отличие от других видов внеучебной деятельности, позитивно связана со всеми рассматриваемыми в исследовании образовательными результатами.
