Инфляция школьных отметок в период пандемии COVID-19: неожиданный эффект или антикризисная стратегия?

Аннотация

Закрытие образовательных организаций и перевод учебного процесса в дистанционный формат в период пандемии COVID-19 стали шоковым событием для всех участников процесса обучения. В данном исследовании осуществлена попытка количественно описать трансформацию оценивания в школах в период пандемии, а также сформулировать гипотезу относительно возможной причины изменения практик выставления отметок.

В качестве источника данных использована база отметок текущей успеваемости учащихся школ одного из регионов Российской Федерации, накопленная с 2015 по 2021 г. С применением методов работы с большими данными, а также коэффициента эффекта Коэна описаны основные изменения, происходившие в оценивании школьной успеваемости. Особое внимание уделено нескольким месяцам 2020 г., когда все школы региона были закрыты для посещения. Именно в этот период фиксируется существенный инфляционный скачок выставляемых отметок.

По результатам исследования авторы выдвигают предположение о намеренном использовании учителями стратегии завышения отметок для сохранения благоприятного социально-психологического климата в школьных классах и снижения психологического напряжения, обусловленного переходом на дистанционный формат обучения. Сделана попытка теоретически обосновать стратегию поведения педагогов по завышению отметок в экстремальной ситуации.
