How to make your article more visible and cited in the scientific community?
Educational Studies Moscow is an open access journal, so you can freely distribute your publication if referring to the source.
There are several ways to promote your article:
Author's ID in scientific citation databases
ORCID and Scopus | The international database Scopus invites authors to register in order to find their articles, keep track of citation and explore impact metrics. Author profiles in Scopus are linked to publications through ORCID, a unique identifier for the authors of research articles.
Google Scholar | It is the largest search engine for scholarly publications. Authors can create a profile and add papers, as well as compile their own library. In order for your articles to appear in search results, you need to validate your profile via institution's email address.
RSCI | You could also register at eLIBRARY.RU website in order to keep track of information in the database of Russian Science Citation Index.
Research Networks
Academia.edu и ResearchGate are the leading scholarly networks, which could be beneficial at every stage of your workflow. The platforms allow you to share your articles, find others and request full texts, follow publications in different topics, correspond with other researchers, create collaborative projects, and track the performance of your articles.
In order to upload articles, you need to register and create a profile. Articles from Educational Studies Moscow can be uploaded in full-text format.
Supplement for personal signature in emails
In addition to your name, title, and place of employment, you may include in your email signature:
– Links to your account in the databases listed above (ORCID, Scopus, Google Scholar) and scholarly networks;
– Reference to your last published article.
Social networks and Telegram channels
Besides, you can always make your work more visible by telling about it and sharing the link in the usual social networks and telegram channels.
And we will be glad to help you with making posts – notes or graphic materials – for the Institute of Education HSE and our partners telegram channels.
If you want to explore any of the above tools, but don't understand how, then email us at edu.journal@hse.ru – we'll consult you.
