XVII International Conference on Higher Education «The (Non)Homogeneous Landscape of Higher Education: Institutions, Trajectories, Effects»

Dear colleagues, 

We invite you to participate in the XVII International Conference on Higher Education, which will take place on October 28–30, 2026 at HSE University. The theme of this year’s conference is«The (Non)Homogeneous Landscape of Higher Education: Institutions, Trajectories, Effects». The journal Educational Studies Moscow traditionally serves as the conference’s information partner.

Discussions will be structured around the following themes:

  • Economics and Stratification of Higher Education
  • The Labour Market and Higher Education: Heterogeneity of Effects
  • Fundamental and Applied Knowledge in a Differentiated Higher Education System
  • Student Well-Being in Academic and Social Diversity
  • Big Data and Analytics for Measuring Heterogeneity
  • Academic Careers: Diversity of Trajectories
  • Extracurricular Activities in the Context of Competing University Missions

Research on other topics in higher education research are also welcome. An “Open Track in Higher Education Research” will be organized for such submissions.
